Assistant Coach - John MacMillan
John grew up in Strongsville, Ohio, but seven years ago, his family moved to Cuyahoga Falls to be closer to the Junior High and High School, Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (CVCA).  He has been on a swim team since he was five years old, and has been on 8 different teams.  John swam all throughout high school, and finished his career with personal bests.  His fastest time in the 100 back stroke is 54.17, and in the 100 fly is 54.53.  This August he will head down to Louisiana to start as a freshman at LSU.  John plans to major in Agriculture in hopes to one day live in another country helping the poor and starving grow their own food.  John has always had a heart for the poor and starving, and he couldn't be more excited to begin his journey at LSU so that he can go out into the world to help make it a better place. John is very excited for this summer swim season, and can't wait to see what is in store for the Water Works Waves!  John believes with hard work and dedication, anything is achievable, and he truly believes that our team can improve and succeed as long as we keep up the right attitude, and try our best! And of course, HAVE FUN!
